The most anticipated smartphones of 2020

The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is attracting attention as it was selected as the '1st most anticipated smartphone in 2020.

It's a somewhat new name compared to Huawei and Xiaomi, but it's already a shock in the second quarter of 2018, overtaking Samsung and Apple in the top spot in India's premium phone market.

OnePlus first released its products at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2020, and showed its ambition to go beyond the delivery of its flagship market to the global market.   According to the poll results conducted by the Android Authority of foreign media against 2,000 people, netizens ranked 'One Plus 8 Series (18.2%)' as the most anticipated smartphone to be released in 2020. The iPhone 12 (13.1%) and the Google Pixel series took second and third place. Other major smartphones scheduled for release in 2020 include the Samsung Galaxy S11, Huawei P40, and Xiaomi 10 series.

1) One Plus 8 / 8Pro

OnePlus 8 series is considered to be the most anticipated smartphone to be released in 2020. Based on the trend so far, the industry expects to release a new product in mid-May 2020.

The OnePlus 8 series, which will become the flagship model in the first half of 2020, is expected to be upgraded from existing products in terms of camera, 5G, battery capacity, and fast charging. Chinese media analyzes that the price is cheaper than other premium smartphones, which is one of the top expectations for 2020.

2) Xiaomi 10 / 10Pro

In 2019, after Xiaomi's cost-effective line Hongmi ( Redmi) became independent as a sole brand, consumers' attention was focused on Hongmi. The premium line did not receive much attention.

However, the industry analyzes that it is worth noting the Xiaomi 10 series, which is the premium line of Xiaomi, which is scheduled to be announced this year. This is because the specifications of the 5G smartphone, the 180 million pixel camera mounted on the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, the 120Hz refresh rate, the 66W wired charging and the 40W charging are great. Chinese media are predicting the availability of the Xiaomi 10 series as early as February.

3) Huawei P40 / P40Pro

The P40 series, which will become Huawei's flagship smartphone in the first half, is expected to be released by the end of March. When we put together the news that has come out so far, it is expected to be divided into two versions, the P40 and the P40pro, as we have done so far.

The P40 is expected to be equipped with a triple rear camera, just like the previous series P30, but the camera specifications are likely to be upgraded.
